Founded in 1900, SocietĂ Sportiva Lazio is one of Italy’s most historic football clubs, based in the eternal city of Rome. Known as “I Biancocelesti” (The White and Sky Blues) and “Le Aquile” (The Eagles), Lazio has been a cornerstone of Italian football for over a century.
Lazio was established by Luigi Bigiarelli and a group of young Romans who wanted to create a multi-sport club. The club’s name comes from the region of Lazio, where Rome is located. Throughout their history, they’ve been known for their passionate fanbase and distinctive sky blue and white colors. They share the Stadio Olimpico with their Rome rivals AS Roma.
